It's not homophobia to point out that homosexuals are over overrepresented in child sex offenses. Individuals from the 1 percent to 3 percent of the population that is sexually attracted to the same sex are committing up to one-third of the sex crimes against children. That is significant.

A study in the Journal of Sex Research found that although heterosexuals outnumber homosexuals by a ratio of at least 20 to 1, homosexual pedophiles commit about one-third of the total number of child sex offenses.

It's not homophobic to notice gay men are overrepresented any more than its "anti-male" or "male phobic" to point out men are overrepresented among child molesters. I don't think we should ignore connections just because they are politically incorrect.

Themisuse here is two fold, first gay activist often claim that research is flawed because male on male abuse isn't necessarily homosexual. Second, social science is incredibly left leaning, so much so that it has been critiqued for using political bias to guide research and decide what gets studied. There is not a lot of support for researching this topic these days so much of the data is from the 80sband early 90s which then gets dismissed as being out of date.

This report has many sources for their claims, but again the are old because there just isn't interest in researching the topic due to PC. I'm not saying all homosexuals are pedophiles, merely that for their population size 2-3% they are overrepresented.

That's deceptive language. It could mean 0% and it could mean 33%, or anywhere in between. They also provided no source to back the "up to 1/3" number. Also, their number for the rate of homosexuality (1-3%) is questionably low. The percentage of people who have had some degree of same-sex sexual contact is much higher than that.

Why are their biases any worse than the overwhelming bias of the social science industry? There is no doubt that heterosexual men commit more child abuse but the issue is the amount homosexuals commit based on being on 2-3% of the population.

In her thesis – also written for the Regent University Law Review – Reisman cited psychologist Eugene Abel, whose research found that homosexuals “sexually molest young boys with an incidence that is occurring from five times greater than the molestation of girls. …”

Abel also found that non-incarcerated “child molesters admitted from 23.4 to 281.7 acts per offender … whose targets were males.”

“The rate of homosexual versus heterosexual child sexual abuse is staggering,” said Reisman, who was the principal investigator for an $800,000 Justice Department grant studying child pornography and violence. “Abel’s data of 150.2 boys abused per male homosexual offender finds no equal (yet) in heterosexual violations of 19.8 girls.”

Some extra background to this story. A 'journalist' at the Australian public broadcaster had profiled this couple as part of their "gender project" (on taxpayer expense) before they were caught and arrested. During the interview, the fact that Australian Customs had questioned them on their return to Australia came up. They were smiling smugly at the reporter taking in their story about how absurd it was that they would be suspected of pedophilia.

After the truth came out, the 'journalist' wrote a small part mea culpa, large part defensive response . Sadly, she never learnt her lesson from this whole mess.
