I randomly ran across this regarding Alefantis attending a glittering Hirschorn event as late as May 2015, and his picture taken and he is called an art "Collector" not pizza guy. He is pictured smiling with a man from a high roller fashion house philanthropic organization.- Robin Fournier-Bergmann of the Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent.

This event was to celebrate the Hirschorns 50th anniversary, and to propogandize the US Senators present regarding the nuclear talks the US was having with Iran. An Iranian born artist was featured. Paley Center for Media CEO Pat Mitchell.also pictured, so Alefantis rubs shoulders with media elite. No wonder the media rushes to protect him.
