Hubbard was a pathological liar. People who have investigated Scientology have discovered he lied about 95% of his so- called illustrious history. The people who have tried to expose Scientology have been threatened, harassed, publicly smeared and hurt by their Gestapo like crew who is assigned to do those things to anyone who tries to tell the truth about them. The mainstream narrative is controlled by the high level members and only in recent years, thanks to the Internet, has some light been shone on that putrid organization. I agree that there is much more to Scientology because of the illustrious member list, but it's all bad. For God's sake, Travolta's son died because he was epileptic and not receiving proper medical treatment. because of the Scientology way of shunning medicine. That tragedy has been buried because of who Travolta is and anyone who speaks out about it is shouted down. They have dedicated people who scour the Internet looking for bad press, threads, blogs etc... and infiltrate them to discredit and down vote people who criticize them. The whole organization is fanatical insanity. They have aided and abetted child abuse and pedophilia for decades.

Fascinating mix of semi-accurate observation, intriguing hypothesis and complete nonsense. What an excellent example of the extremely annoying AMATEURISM so rampant here on VOAT. No wonder Pizzagate is spinning it's wheels. You got no plan. You got no way to MAKE a plan. What you do have are hundreds of smart people each with an itsy bitsy piece of what could be a plan, but no way to put it together. There is no one at the controls. Might as well be the metaphorical millions of monkeys typing away at keyboards (who, given infinite time, would eventually produce all of the great works of literature.) This place is the quintessential cautionary tale of all that is right AND wrong with total fucking democracy: namely, that it is indistinguishable from anarchic chaos.

Look, you've got a couple of points right about Hubbard and Scientology, and you ALMOST start down the right track to making an actually useful conditional guess about where to dig . . . and then you miss the mark and totally blow it.

I'm tempted to dismantle the primary submission of this sub point by point, but the only benefit therefrom would be the emotional gratification of venting my annoyance to my self, because that's what it's like here. Hubbard's interest in Black magic, connections and interaction with Jack Parsons and that whole British cabal of Intelligence Services mixed with Satanic/Crowley/Secret Societies/World Domination stuff is both very interesting and pretty deeply researched by others. There is certainly more to be found along that line of investigation. Much much more, because Hubbard was all about how to become a more effective sociopath. Crowley said "Do whatever you want to do" and Hubbard said "Here are step by step instructions on HOW to do whatever you want to do (step #1 was to give him money and step #2 was to unquestioningly follow his orders .) The double triangles are a dead end. They are shallow symbolic representations of a few of Scientology's basic precepts with no deeper significance. One triangle represents "ARC" [Affinity-Reality-Communication] and the other represents "KRC" [Knowledge-Responsibility-Control. The idea is that by improving any one of these skill sets one automatically improves the others, and thereby gains personal capability. Interesting. Maybe even true to a limited extent. But irrelevant to the investigation of what is wrong and evil about Scientology.

Scientology is a messed up ideology. Hubbard even said in memos that it wasn't a religion, it was an ideology, but they pursued the religion angle for tax purposes. He also was a pedo.
