Being as I've never seen it mentioned here before, look into the Kamloops genocide sometime on Google. In the mid 1960s, Queen Elizabeth II and the-then Pope, Paul VI paid many unannounced visits to Canadian schools and went on 'field-trips' with the aboriginal children. As much as it disheartens me to say this, for many of these children it was the last time they were ever seen. Very few survivors remain, and to my knowledge none of them have told their story. A couple years back it reached a courtroom, but about a week before proceedings were to start the survivor who put forward the accusations suddenly died. Take note that this was sometime circa 2014, long before Pizzagate was even in its fetal stages.

The Dutroux case was exposing the pedophile ring all the way up to the Royal family. The argument that prosecuting such people would mean the destruction of their government, hierarchic dynasty and national history was what kept the authorities from pursuing the leads and focusing solely on Marc Dutroux. It is a shame. A real shame. They're getting away with it and it's disgusting.
