I bet that umbilical cord market is something else. The right cord would be worth millions to the right billionaire. Don't donate umbilical cords of your new family members. Inject the cord blood into your aging family members at least or put it on eBay ( or preferably some sort of cord market board which no doubt exists somewhere ) with all the test results, vital statistics of the newborn, weight of the cord and a photo of the baby would probably be useful. Ask for a million dollars to be put in escrow until the baby turns 18.

If parents get the money they'll be making babies just to sell the cords. They will use testimonials of the purchasers of their other babies' cords they've sold. It would be a mess.

(Hint, it's listed as a mental health and drug rehab clinic at 124 Amherst street, the site of businesses we investigated earlier this week, directly tired to Tony P. This is a business i hadn't found yet, but add it to the list!)

PKU--Here's a routine newborn blood taking process for the US. I'm sure they also have some similar test to protect babies born in other countries also.

" KEY FACTS The conditions newborns are screened for differ in each state. Most states screen for 29 of the 34 conditions recommended by the Discretionary Advisory Committee on Heritable Disorders in Newborns and Children. Although these conditions are rare, each year over 5,000 babies are identified with a newborn screening condition. There are three parts to newborn screening. A heel stick to collect a small blood sample, pulse oximetry to look at the amount of oxygen in the baby’s blood, and a hearing screen. The blood test is generally performed when a baby is 24 to 48 hours old. This timing is important because certain conditions may go undetected if the blood sample is drawn before 24 hours of age. Newborn screening does not confirm a baby has a condition. If a positive screen is detected, parents will be notified immediately and follow-up testing will be done. Every baby born in the United States will be screened unless a parent decides to opt out for religious reasons. - See more at: http://www.babysfirsttest.org/newborn-screening/screening-101#sthash.0sLEfqTj.dpuf "

That should say "Every baby will be screened and if parents object, due to religious reasons or any other tomfoolery, we will sic CPS on them and try our hardest to medically kidnap the baby and give it to a "new" family."

People are becoming terrified to object to anything during a hospital stay for childbirth because the absolutely insane way that some nurses will react and report for. It is seriously frightening.

Or perhaps their are blood testing centers / hospitals where employees have noticed sketchy anomalies associated with testing requests or organ supply chains...
