I was trying to show someone the weird Julian Assange video glitches from the recent interview. I searched out this old reddit post to find the videos and every link is dead.

Is it normal for these hosting sites to have content expire or were they removed manually? If this is normal just let me know and Ill delete the post.

Not unusual for those sites. In the thread the links to the various gifs work.

There's a good case to be made that it is just a video transition (meaning they cut something in between), rather than being evidence they are using a CGI version of Assange or splicing together more than just regular cuts of things he actually said.

not unusual. those are 8chan and 4chan hosting which are quickly wiped. the reddit link is still up. i'm not sure how relevant this is.
