The art was used to degrade the culture and also as a cover for moving and laundering massive amounts of money, as it is still used today. A piece of canvas worth a few dollars is given an arbitrary price of several million dollars and sold, bundled along with whatever other illegal goods or services are being laundered. One thing for sure, if they are moving kids, they are moving drugs, and if they are moving drugs, they are without a doubt using art to do so. The entire art world is a cess pit of crime and perversion and has been for decades.

Interesting read. Going so far as to create the abstract scene to counter Russian realism? Really? The stuff that's gone public in "real news" about CIA recently has all been strange, and that's just what has been allowed to leak. Have you read about operation midnight climax? http://archives.sfweekly.com/sanfrancisco/operation-midnight-climax-how-the-cia-dosed-sf-citizens-with-lsd/Content?oid=2184385

Another good book on the topic is Hugh Wilford's The Mighty Wurlitzter: How the CIA Played America . And Karen Paget's book Patriotic Betrayal explains how the CIA infiltrated national student groups like the National Student Association all the way from the late 40s to early 60s and used it as a front for political action groups and intelligence gathering..
