So I was reading the Countering disinformation and propaganda act And found this:
"SEC. 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS.
It is the sense of Congress that—
(1) foreign governments, including the Governments of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, use disinformation and other propaganda tools to undermine the national security objectives of the United States and key allies and partners"
My question is this; how is fox news (owned by Australian based Rupert Murdoch not fall under this clause?
I realize that they are publicly owned but as the primary share holder by far could not the legal case be made that Fox news is in violation?? I'd appreciate thoughts on this. Perhaps there is a way via litigation if not direct action to bring pressure to bear and publicly highlight the hypocrisy?

I feel this is relevant to pizzagate on a macro scale. Cnn and other left leaning MSM outlets have lost social credibility due to being outed as prodigious liars ad nausium over the last month.. This is the reason fox news was selected to air the Alefantis.. Fluff interview.. It appeals to the conservative base.. People 50-60 still adhere to red vs blue fairly reliably and generally believe Fox if they are conservative.. If a legal framework can be built to allege treason via this new legislation it would act as a symbolic gesture to damage credibility.. I say symbolic since even if there is proven violation it is improbable that DoJ would act.. So.... Litigate.. In a hugely public way... There has to be someone willing to sue them.
This was passed so quickly... I certainly could be wrong yet I have this nagging feeling even they didn't think it through from every last angle.
If they lose the legacy media their ability to manage public opinion is severely compromised.. Let's kick out as many legs from under them as we can.

And Carlos Slim of Mexico owns majority stake in New York Times

Normally you'd be right had they not provided themselves a loophole in advance. https://www.occupycorporatism.com/how-the-ndaa-allows-us-gov-to-use-propaganda-against-americans/
Fox news is not news. They are registered as an entertainmen... Oh snap! There goes that loophole. We really need to grow up out of this idea that we're forced to accept a bunch of codified rules just because a bunch of Satanic pedophiles got together one day and wrote them down on paper.
▼ Boud8814
Wait, so well then all alternative media just start billing itself as entertainment fake news. And its over
▼ thestormking
I would hardly call this investigation entertainment and I don't think it would be so easy as to just start labeling it as such because not only would it be dishonest but it would also be a discredit to the investigators and victims trying to expose this story. Just because pedos mince words and codify language doesn't mean we have to. We can refuse to accept the codified language the pedos substitute for law. They are trying to spell us with language. Without the media they have nothing left to spell people with. And just because a law has been codified doesn't mean a court has to uphold it.

Rupert Murdoch is a US citizen. Renounced being Australian a while back now.
▼ NerdyNoodle
A. IDK, I think this interpretation would make RT, Al Jazeera and BBC illegal in the USA. I believe the "propaganda" must be demonstrably issued from a state in order for it to qualify for this treatment.
B. Therefore when the government takes its stance against (pretty much all) independent conservative journalism, claiming it to be Russian propaganda, they are demonstrating an illegitimate use of this provision. Likewise Correct the Record and Media Matters have been demonstrating an illegitimate use of this provision if it can be demonstrated (as I believe it has been) that they are in collusion with and/or are funded by agencies within the US government.
C. This is an enormous case of the pot calling the kettle black.
▼ Thakiddds
I sure hope so we should all tweet news media and tell them they are.
▼ Beaucephus
Wouldn't Correct the Record be in direct violation of this bill? Their entire business model is undermining national security.

Can you cite anything to indicate Australian Rupert Murdoch is working with the Australian government or any other foreign government, for purposes of disinfo or propaganda, as opposed to him working for private interests? If you can't then clause (1) isn't met.
Besides that, (1) is merely a stated reason for the bill. There is no action to be taken based on that.
▼ retreaux
When was the last time Murdoch met with a foreign politician? Accuse away.

Private meeting with May? He's a British spy now.

I read somewhere Murdoch asked May to drop the historical abuse enquiry.

If it is a house bill, then it is not a law yet. The Senate will need to vote on it and the president will need to sign it into law.

Absolutely. The dumb fucks who passed this didn't realize it applies to the entire government, not just the traitors who work in special access projects. There are a lot of patriots in the government who can now take advantage of this and use it against the traitors in government who wanted to use this legislation as a weapon against the people. I'm excited to see fbianon and the snake eaters fucking up the co-conspirators of pizzagate.
▼ gopluckyourself
it isn't law yet. It merely passed the house.
▼ goatboy
No. It was attached to the NDAA, approved by the senate, reconciled, and signed by Obama. It is law now. It's funny the evil shit they do over Christmas. Ultimately, I place this on the heads of Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee. Either one could have filibustered this, but they didn't- the fuckers.

I am all for damaging the MSM. They were worthy of it long before #Pizzagate.

so much for "globalism' They are all for it until it bites their asses.
▼ postfascion
Unfortunately Murdoch has US citizenship. But I don't know the status of "news" international. However it's a good idea. They're coming to a point where they're desperately trying to keep all the plates balanced... Some within the system are onto them, those outside definitely are. Its just a waiting game in terms of which plate falls first.
