Drudge and RT both got ddosed overnight.
Drudge leads with a picture of pizza when back up.
The actual story and the restaurant are probably irrelevant.
The message is clear though; try to shut it down and pizza will lead.
Clear parallel to the Antarctica lead the other day, right before Obama kicking the Russian "diplomats" out. This lead IMO was U.K. flipping off obama with a decades old plain text spy code "out in the cold"
But yes "out in the cold" still used in some ways, relevance: US U.K. DK Iceland Greenland NATO etc.
What happened at the same time as the other Antarctica stories coming out earlier this year?
I agree with your observations of the message and timing as being indicative, but I am also thinking along these lines...
We know Pizzagate is expansive, and multinational.
We know DC has Comet.
We know NY Times and New Yorker are not covering the story except to smear investigators.
What does New York have for perverse elites?
Maybe it's not this place, but NY is in on PizzaGate, one way or another, and some one is facilitating.
I knew a landscape architect in NYC so The article was interesting but this person wasn't mentioned. I've seen restaurants do the gold leaf / glitter gag before. I remember an article about a bar somewhere once that garnished cocktails with real jewelry for billions of dollars. I don't think these places are interested in child related activity.

I would be more concerned about the chelsea playground described as dildos and butt plugs but maybe you are seeing something I missed in your links.

I removed those links to redirect focus on the restaurant, Industry Kitchen.
Looking through them, they didn't seem to lead anywhere solid, as you observed.
