It's forgotten it's raison d'etre, which is advocating for the working class, the vulnerable and the disadvantaged. Unfortunately, it's degenerated to 'micro-aggressions' and no-platforming of anyone with dissenting, but rational, views. It's ridiculous.

I was very happy to hear Trump say those things. Then I thought about it and realised that it's not only Democrats calling for tough sanctions against Russia for 'hacking the DNC' but also plenty of Republicans. I'm assuming that it is in the self-interests of those Republicans to start a war with Russia, and that means that they're profiting and being paid off, perhaps by the military manufacturers. It also means that Trump would be up against not only the Democrats but also plenty of people on his own side. He doesn't have the numbers to deal with the issue, which means that he's powerless to do anything. I really hope I'm wrong. I'm happy to be corrected on any of this and hear other from other people who may know more than I.

As a CTHLeftie, when I assess a situation I hold ALL humanist aspirations in consideration and balance. Whereas the PC left cherry-pick certain humanist goals and pursue them with blind zealotry.
