Cool. Maybe mention this approach in the sticky or sidebar so people know it's okay? Cross-posting is practically a capital offense on Reddit, where many are from.

I get the sense that folks are frustrated with having limited upvoats, are starved for SCP/CCP and thus driven to shitpost. Encouraging them to do it in pizzagatewhatever and 'advertise' in v/pizzagate comments where the eyeballs are might vent some of that frustration, get eyeballs to the other sub and help build peoples' points.

Vindicator

Would it work for @wellington33 to post in the new sub but make a brief comment linking people to his post there within the comment section of v/pizzagate threads? That way, he can advertise the new subs as well as share his ideas.

People should be doing this with memes as well, IMO.

nathanwblair

i meant the reverse of that. meta discussion, strategic discussion, is the most important part of this. i'd like more of it. and yes, you're right, it wasn't banned. my bad.

Clearly you are not earnest in any way, which is sad. But as you are whining about lack of visibility for this and complaining that mods are burying the story:

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1528884/7446348

Link is a mod talking about exactly what you're spamming in not only a visible post, but the most visible post in the entire sub: The current sticky.

wellington33

aham, so you are saying that every /pizzagate user is OBLIGED to read the 64 post from the sticky? i bet 90% of us didnt read even the OP.

heygeorge

When I looked it had nearly 2,000 views, which represents 20% of all-time subscribers. If you'd like to continue the line of talking: How many subscribers would you say are active?

Otherwise: What message are you trying to get out exactly? I don't understand how spammy whining will accomplish anything other than to promote this astroturfing campaign to create distrust in the moderators.

wellington33

ye, i know. my bad. i just think people should know about alt-accounts. i think a sticky with alt-accounts info would be great.

heygeorge

So... Follow me here. You think peeps need to know about alts who are sowing dissatisfaction with the mod team.

Your method of disseminating this info is by rabblerousing folks to be upset with the censorious mods.

Yes? Why?

wellington33

AGAIN: sorry, it was a mistake, i didn't know about the mods positions on the issue.

heygeorge

Ok, now it's my turn to apologize. I didn't intend to browbeat you. I'm just attempting to understand your motivation.

wellington33

can't you understand that if i post this info in those subverse, it will be the same as censoring it? those subverse have 100 subs only. i want the 10.000 people in /pizzagate to read this. this is about them. they need and deserve to know. can't you understand that ? really ?

wellington33

like posting it whereever i want INSIDE this subverse, because it concerns people in this subvers. PEOPLE really need to know about this. in fact, you should inform people about alt-accounts derailing the investigation towards blaming jews and shit like that. You should let people talk. If we cant speculate, then we cant do a single shit. everything we achive was thanks to speculative threads. im not even asking you about those dyncorp threads deleted dude. let people talk. let users decide whats right and whats wrong.

Fatsack

we got you kev, this guys just another CTR pedo protector. the sub has been giving out great verifiable information lately, so this guys concern is unfounded.

Fatsack

This post is pointless and doesnt further the investigation with any actual facts or evidence. This is a concern trolling post. someone with 500 down vote alts wont be able to de-rail the investigation because people who post something substantial will just repost it if it gets down voted to oblivion. Just like you're doing. And theres a limited # of downvotes per day per account anyways, so it's ultimately a futile effort. Nice try though Brock.

wellington33

then what is the problem about sharing this and discussing it in public here in v/pizzagate ?

Fatsack

Because it supplants eyeballs that could be examining evidence and references to further the foundation of the investigation.

wellington33

im not trying to turn the community against you. im just trying to let people know what has been said about our community. i think that is relevant to this subverse. and if you cant see it, ill inform people in other ways.

Fatsack

Maybe we could setup a live chat box on the side of the subverse, like some forums have, that people can spam if they want to redirect to something they feel is important, this will give an avenue toward those topics while keeping the top posts relevant and substantial on v/pizzagate . I believe they're called 'shout' boxes

gopluckyourself

The rules were discussed and developed by the community rule 4: META submissions and general discussion submissions without sources will be removed. To avoid diluting the front page, please make those sorts of submissions HERE. Please bring any meta concerns you have HERE (this is also where the mods will discuss moderating the sub, so you are welcome to participate in those conversations as well).

please repost to /v/pizzagatemods if you have a problem with the way we moderate this forum we are more than happy to discuss and change the way we do things to improve this subverse. But right now before we do that. This is how we do things.
Cheers

"META POSTS BANNED" say mods, while STICKYING A META POST ABOUT THE SUB DEFINITION!!!!"
