I was lucky enough to not click on any of the Twitter links, but read from several people that did. I tried to go on the dark net once a few years back to see all these online drugs, red rooms and hitmen for hire. Three clicks in I saw a normal enough sounding porn link, clicked it, really bad CP. i restarted workaholics from the beginning and started rewatching episodes. there is a lot of pedophile references in this show i didnt catch the first time i was watching it. after knowing what i know about pizzagate, and since i dont really believe in coincidence any longer, i dont watch it anymore

Some of them have a point, because pedophilia is a disorder just like any other abnormal sexual attraction and should therefore be researched and treated as such, though I fear it may turn out like LGBTQA+ and become accepted.

I read it more as though one side of the pedos makes that argument. The strength of the article is quoting the various posters on their underground sites. The use of violence and drugs to subdue and hurt young children is openly debated by camps of pedos in the article. Ugh. But I did not read any positive spin concerning the somewhat less aggravated felonious pedos in that Cracked article. Both groups of pedos are committing serious crimes and the article jabs at the rationalizations of the supposedly better camp.

the media is also trying to normalize Satanism through various TV shows and movies. A cable channel called FREEFORM keeps advertising this show called "Shadow Hunter," and there is a stylized Baphomet logo behind the name. I see a lot of that type of thing. Very good point. I completely agree that addiction seems like a poor word to describe it, I think compulsion is more accurate. The computer issue really scares me because it's far too easy to come across that kind of stuff by accident (as recently as pedo Twitter) and just by having tor is reason to search.

Saw the movie, "Why Him" over Christmas break. It was quick, but in the party scene, I think there was a nod, wink, nudge to show an incestuous relationship of two party goers. I guess I'm in the minority from this page. I don't feel that it is "normalizing" as in legitimizing pedophilia, but raising attention to the fact that it is a mental order that should be addressed freely. A common theme I see in these articles is non offending pedophiles, those attracted to children but resist temptation, find it difficult to get any meaningful help without being court ordered after an offense has occurred. I can somewhat understand that, since I see the same situation with drug addicts. Many of the drug court programs are fantastic at getting people back on their feet, but if you haven't committed an offense you're out of luck. I'm willing to support any resource that keeps people from offending, seems better than the alternative, stigmatizing seeking help until they give up and offend
