Someone once courted me and was talking marriage -- over time it became obvious that he wanted my kidney (his earlier transplant was failing). So yes, there is a huge market for organs and you're not allowed to sell them -- this should change, the patient should be able to make a private transaction to buy an organ, that could hurt the trafficking biz which is why the transaction is probably illegal in the first place!
