umpteenth

I feel like t-shirts are an ill-advised avenue to go down-essentially wearing a shirt that says "ask me about satanic ritual abuse by elites"....it kind of trivializes the subject imo.

yabbadoody

I'm detecting a "tone" in this thread that goes something like "citizen journalists don't have bills."

well FUCK YOU TOO if you believe that magnanimous load of horse shit.

umpteenth

did you mean balls?

jonnythaiwongy9

Agreed, selling merch, and as if Alefantis is going to draw more attention to himself, demanding deletions on his own FB account

srayzie

He's probably having them work overtime for his ex!

Sentastixc

I also have evidence janitors are paid

srayzie

So maybe just hire people from Hillary's side like Project Veritas showed?

srayzie

Who pays them?

DefenderOfTruth

Thanks for adding your point of view. Truth is getting stranger than fiction.

IsThisGameOfThrones

This is not true. Everything i said is 100% accurate.

juhos

It's a half hour job to fake facebook chat with any texts and with anyone (by altering the source code). So no, that video is not 100% proof. Best proof and hardest to fake would be recording the call, I guess.

srayzie

David Seamans gets money to help with the investigation. Many people on youtube get donations. Infowars gets its funding by selling things. Things don't always come for free. So he sold some damn Pizzagate awareness clothing. At least it gets the word out! Just like youtubers trying to get paid by their ads too. You don't know what he does. He's even said to tell him if you don't have enough money. He could be researching full time right now. Why dont you stop judging? It doesn't mean he's a bad person or that he's lying about what happened. Some of you people are too harsh and pushing people away. Unless that's your goal then be supportive!

Rigg5

He also does zero research. He gets paid 3k a month to call John Podesta an Alleged Pedophile over and over again. I would do it for free.

srayzie

Who? David Seamans?

Throwaway24398021

The number in that video is from a public record of building permits, something along those lines. Can't remember exactly. He wasn't the one who found it.

srayzie

"Hi I'm Ryan. I woke up bored this morning so I had a fun little idea. I decided to totally trick my YouTube fans and ruin my reputation and make my previous investigative work into Pizzagate no longer trustworthy. You're not going to believe it you guys! I went on my YouTube account and claimed that I was threatened by James Alefantis! I thought I'd really piss off the the powerful satanic murderer that is friends with other powerful Satanic murderers that all have connections! I used my real name too! That way it looked like I wasn't faking. Don't worry honey, I'll protect you. This was all in fun!

So anyways! I took the day off from work and set aside hours to get everything set up! I set up a new facebook account, did some photoshopping, some HTML, thought of a full conversation that me and my friend can send each other in messenger and make it look like it was me and The James Alefantis! Then, I made this great video using all of the things I set up previously!

Thankfully I have great acting skills! I acted scared shitless! Ha, it was priceless! I got everyone good by making it look like the phone number I typed in was really JA's phone number. Darn it, they didn't believe me so I had to make a 2nd video and then a 3rd to make it look even more convincing! No biggie. I finally had a little time on my hands because when the family was having dinner, I ran down to the police station and made a police report! That will make them REALLY believe me. Don't worry! I won't get caught for making false claims!

I ended up having a great night just like I knew I would. I told a little fib tho earlier. The real goal was to go thru all that work because I didn't want people to believe me. Got ya!! Guess what? Most people did NOT believe me, I was called a pussy, and was told how stupid I was I can't even remember how many times! I was told how weak I was and had so many insults thrown my way! It sure did make my day. I'm wore out and am going to sleep so peacefully tonight!"

Think about it people. He's not faking. Maybe he didn't handle everything correctly. But who knows what you would do in that situation if you got scared. If he didn't call JA when he was asked then you would have called him a pussy. You will find fault. Give the guy a break.

Throwaway24398021

What previous work has he done? All he does is make videos summarising other people's work, then plug his merchandise website. He's been doing it for a grand total of three weeks. Regurgitate content, gather an audience and plug a product. It's textbook internet marketing.

srayzie

Wow that's all you got out of it? Your mind is made up. You've been a member here for less than 2 hours LOL. I'm not gonna even gonna deal with you.

hanknut42

hes telling the truth none of the work hes made YT vids about is his own. Yuke is the OP of the peagus theory and this guy just threw it all together and watch the end of the VIDEO HES GOT A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE!

srayzie

Yeah I've talked with Yuke and all of that. He still puts all of this stuff together and makes the videos. I just don't get the vibe from him that he's playing us

hanknut42

watch the end of his threat video hes smiling ear to ear he forgot to cut it before he starts laughing

creep

That's a throwaway, genius, not his main account.

srayzie

Oh thank you for sharing your great knowledge. Or umm, your opinion.

LargePepperoni

This is not confirmed as fake yet.

goat_cheese_pizza

Good catch.

Hazilla

I really don't think it's fake

DefenderOfTruth

I wish this can be proved to be real, honestly. It really seems like it would help our cause.

BUT: What threw me more than the obvious merchandising is that "Alefantis" is just too easy in the messaging convo that was uploaded to YT. If I was being open source investigated like he is, I would never get involved with one of the random blokes trying to get dirt on me. It's just not reasonable that he'd stoop to that. If he was clean, okay, maybe a few harsh remarks defending himself, but if he is guilty, why on earth would he engage at all? And he seems to make himself look more guilty in the messages. Why!? He knows anything he says will be used against him.

So far, I believe Alefantis is stupid/thinks he's untouchable or this is fake. If you have a third option, I'd love to hear it though. My mind may change as more evidence comes out.

sensitive

It's probably the first option. From my criminal and psychology studies, people like Alefantis really think they are untouchable, smarter etc. They are HIGHLY arrogant. They even tend not to do what their attorneys tell them. Also, having read what he (supposedly) wrote, this seems real. If someone had set this up, he deserves a Grammy for that!

ProudTruther

I honestly think he's a mind control victim and that's why he's stupid as shit. I swear this guy just grew up in in some CIA mind control sex slave program.

BlueTesla

I agree it would take a creative mind to fabricate absolutely everything. If the tshirt thing wasn't involved we'd all believe him.

sensitive

I give him the benefit of the doubt. I also doubt that he makes big money with those t-shirts. Guess it's just a way to help spread the word. But it doesn't matter much - faking something like this is - sorry, buddy! - way too difficult. It would take a genius to come up with a conversation like this. Even I couldn't do it - or if I could, it would take me ages!

dickface8

^^ look out guys we got a genius on our hands!

sensitive

I was joking, dude ... But apart from that, I do have experience with things like that ...

BlueTesla

Nice job, i should have seen this earlier but couldn't watch the video at work. That just about does it, this one is debunked. edit: tested this on my phone, you're actually wrong. Once somebody has accepted your message request you can call them. Even without being friends. Try it. I will post a screebshot when i get to my pc.

Millennial_Falcon

Okie dokie. Flairing OP as debunked!

creep

I don't see how a call for skepticism should be tagged as "debunked". We should all be skeptical because the "evidence" is all flimsy at best. All we have to go on is the video guy's word. And the fact he is selling merchandise, and even shills it at the end of his video should be a massive red flag.

Millennial_Falcon

It's not a general call for skepticism. It's a specific claim, which has been disproven.

creep

But surely you can see how this might look on the front page?

  1. Joe Lurker sees original Threat Video at the top of the page with no flair, assumes it's real.
  2. Joe Lurker sees this skeptical post on the front page with "debunked" flair, assumes Threat Video has been proven to be true.

Investigate1999

People should probably just repost another sceptical post. It doesn't have to be this post.

Sentastixc

Yeah, flair the original accuracy in question, maybe? What do you think @Millenial_Falcon

Throwaway24398021

I've made an edit. I still don't trust the guy pushing an online merch store given the extremely limited information he's provided, but I guess a real conversation is indistinguishable in this regard at least.

Edit: I think it's worth remembering this doesn't prove it was real. It's still very, very easy to fake the evidence he's provided. It wouldn't have been hard for him to just scroll up to the "James Alefantis accepted your message request" section of the conversation. Come on, how likely is it that Alefantis, smart enough to successfully run multiple covers for human trafficking, would be dumb enough to publically utter death threats over a recordable medium? Why is he using the word "shill"? Really?

Millennial_Falcon

Yeah, I saw. By the way I was referring to the post when I said "OP," not you (submitter).

Throwaway24398021

You sure? Facebook themselves say otherwise.

BlueTesla

Yes check out this screenshot I just took of this dude who was jealous I was speaking to his girlfriend, note it says "you and aaron aren't connected on facebook" because we are not friends. Once I replied to his message I got a notification to tell me 'you accepted aarons message request' and now I am able to phone him.

Edit: also http://i.imgur.com/AcCJTyC.png

Throwaway24398021

Ahhh, ok. Looks like Facebook's policy page is out of date.

BlueTesla

We should still be suspicious though, I think we all just want to believe.

ProudTruther

That's true but seeing as how every other conspiracy has come true why not this one. The kid made some mistakes but I hope and think his heart is in the right place and he really has contacted JA.

It does seem like even more legit evidence that these people wouldn't want out. A sketchy as museum of nothing owned by JA? this shit keeps getting crazier and crazier.

Fateswebb

Can you show it on computer? Hmm I'm seeing the icon but it's slightly greeted out and says so and so is unavailable for calls when you mouse over it. But I'm not sure if that user can do video calls maybe they have it disabled or something. I would like to confirm if this is true for sure.

BlueTesla

http://i.imgur.com/AcCJTyC.png Here you go, it even says 'start a video call' when you hover over it. You must message eachother first before it becomes available.

Fateswebb

Thanks, so then the claim to have spoken with jimmycomet is not debunked.

BlueTesla

http://i.imgur.com/AcCJTyC.png Also on the browser you can even see 'start a voice call with Aaron'... thanks Aaron :)

unbiased_researcher

You are right. https://www.facebook.com/help/183862241669046

EDIT: oh shit, BlueTesla is right. I just tried it too. It seems you can call anyone who has messaged you even if they are not friends.

LargePepperoni

Looks like the messenger app and the facebook website work differently.

DiggingforTruth

That's intriguing.

If someone is pulling a fast one on something potentially as important as why some of us are here, that's pretty damn sad.

ThePuppetShow

Agreed, it would be fucking pathetic.

Throwaway24398021

Why do you think he mentions his website ( PizzaGateGear ) in every video? It's a website dedicated (edit: solely dedicated) to selling things. He's cashing in.

ThePuppetShow

Well, if this was me and I actually did get a call from JA, I would probably be panicking for my family and trying to make as much money as possible to at least get my family out of the house.

I dont do facebook anymore, so I won't comment on your find.

unbiased_researcher

Thing is, the guy doesn't seem very smart. If it was an elaborate hoax, it was very well done. Meaning CIA-level intelligence is behind it.

Throwaway24398021

How is it well-done? All he would need to do is right-click -> edit element. Anyone who can make an online store would know enough to do that.

That's the entire extent of it. The Google Maps video was a summary of other people's findings anyway and everyone knows uploading then deleting a video will generate buzz.

pizzagatewillnotdie

This guy is making a claim that could be libel, and sued in court if he's lying. Selling shirts is a bit on the questionable side, maybe. But how much do you think he'd make selling 100 shirts? Ever tried to sell shirts online, it's near impossible. It's not a get rich quick scheme, or make a bunch of money quick scheme. Nothing wrong with questioning his evidence of the threats, but I don't see the selling of shirts as a reason to immediately discredit his intentions.

I get the disdain for people trying to profit from the investigation. But how is it any different than Reality Calls or David Seaman (arguably some of the best faces for Pizzagate). They literally ask for donations. If you give 20 bucks to either of them for a donation, they get all of it. If you give 20 bucks for a shirt, he might get 3 or 4 bucks. I don't get the separation, in fact, it seems quite a bit less profitable to sell shirts than to directly ask for donations.

Throwaway24398021

And Alefantis could be jailed for years for uttering death threats. Which is more likely? This guy is stupid enough to commit libel, or Alefantis, a man supposedly smart enough to run an entire pedophile ring under the nose of Washington DC, is stupid enough to openly threaten murder?

pizzagatewillnotdie

Which is more likely? This guy is stupid enough to commit libel, or Alefantis, a man supposedly smart enough to run an entire pedophile ring under the nose of Washington DC, is stupid enough to openly threaten murder?

I don't think your comparisons are fair, so I'm not picking one of your options. I don't think Alefantis is running a pedo ring in DC. I think he's probably dirty, but I'm not convinced of a huge organized pedo ring. He could have caught JA drunk, or on a coke binge. Or JA could really just feel untouchable. I'm not ready to take a stance either direction on this yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open.

Throwaway24398021

But how much do you think he'd make selling 100 shirts?

Assuming £10 profit on a £20 shirt, £1000. Not bad for a day or two's work.

But how is it any different from [famous people with track records]

They have reputations, which increases the incentive for them to be honest. Product sales will happen whether or not people trust you.

redditsuckz

He says he makes $4 dollars...but he also said he makes no profit in his videos...

I do not know how to make a shirt. I ordered these. I like them. I think yall will too if you can get past the fact that Im profiting $4(less if you count my time and the fact that im storing these in my very limited space).

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1466935/7105009

https://archive.is/9KJwd

And he cant shut down the website because he doesnt run it...

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1479352/7177527

https://archive.is/4YDkJ

pizzagatewillnotdie

You don't make 10 dollars profit on a 20 dollar shirt. You ever priced the cost of selling tshirts online through a third party? What he's accusing JA of could ruin him financially for the rest of his life if JA were to sue for libel. I'm not saying I believe for a fact everything he's saying is true, but it seems like a very big risk for a possibly small reward.

DustyRadio

This is something I immediately thought of. For God's sake, if someone as creepy and scary as JA was legit telling me he would kill my child and mother and SO, the last thing I would think of is to plug some stupid website that has been up for a minute selling t-shirts about the very thing I was being threatened over- and during the very video I was making telling people how terrorized I was. That is fucking unbelievable.

Investigate1999

It's even worse. He essentially pleaded with us to stop investigating...and then he reminds us of his shirts. I'm surprised that this isn't brought up more in conversations. I asked him about it, too.

starrydust

Yeah, and the way he switches emotions so rapidly at the end of the video is... disconcerting. From pleading, almost begging us to not go… to becoming light-hearted and smiling, and in an apparently genuine way. “Check out pizzagategear.com. Look at my shirts.” It just feels so inappropriate.

redditsuckz

to becoming light-hearted and smiling

He would have knowledge of subliminal marketing/advertising...why would someone want to buy a t-shirt from someone all doom and gloom...

Enough experimenting let’s get into the science of smiling and how it applies to making more sales

The same principle applies to sales. If your voice exudes happiness and a smile, your prospect hears, as well as feels it. People like to work with happy people. Why? Because most people are unhappy and if they see you are happy, they want what you got. The fist step for them to get un-unhappy is for them to align with you. Smiles are contagious,
