I wonder if tunnels run under or near these businesses.... These are definitely pedo symbols/symbolism.,
We should all look at our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.. etc.. toys. Tell everyone.

Good Find. Does it ever end tho?

While this post might be important, I will remove it under rule 2 for now and ask you to resubmit this providing sources for this claim:

Since we know pandas have been related to pedos

I personally know how pandas are related symbolism, but many of your readers may not, and it is important that we maintain an investigative environment where all claims are cited responsibly. By all means please do resubmit this once you've made the edit. Thank you.

Why can't you just ask them to edit their post instead of deleting it? People are less likely to write up or post again when you delete it, and I don't see why your first response is to remove it instead of asking them to simply edit their post.

Leaving submissions up that violate rules leads to selective modding, and we're not willing to do that. Members of the community deserve equal treatment, and as mods we try to simply follow a predefined set of rules vetted and accepted by the community rather than our own subjective judgment whenever that's feasible. We've made the mistake of asking for edits and waiting around in the past. Most of the time the edits do not come, and meanwhile posts are accumulating comments and upvotes, all of which goes out the window once we delete the post after waiting around for an edit that does not come. It's better to remove a post early, and help the OP to make the required edits so that, once resubmitted and it meets all rules, it can thrive. For that reason, quite unintuitively, the better the post quality, the more important it is to catch any rule violations in it early.

We also need to think in the long term, and we want this sub to be as objective and researched as possible. If we let posts that make claims without proper sourcing slip through, we're encouraging laziness and a lack of critical thinking. The more consistent we are with rule enforcement, the better the results will be over time.

I understand not wanting to wait for edits that never come, but seeing as it was a new post, surely asking for an edit and giving them a 5 - 10 grace period to edit it wouldn't hurt? I've already seen other mods ask others to edit their posts and the OPs did it.

I've already addressed this in my previous reply. You might want to reread it. Also, other mods are not encouraged to follow this practice, but don't just take my word for it, there's a discussion going on about this, started by a mod.
