I wouldn't worry about it. You got that because you most likely opened a PDF from here, some of the evidence here is in PDF form. When you open the link to it Chrome knows it needs to open Adobe Acrobat and it will check for updates as well. That's what you saw.

That was my assumption but the wording of what it does made me leary. Thanks.

I got one of them today too, but it was just after a microsoft update...

I haven't had an update recently. Yesterday morning my PC notified me no virus found after an auto overnight check. I never add any additional anti-virus software on my computer because I think they give you fake stuff to make you feel like you need them and I never have problems except back when my daughter used Limewire years ago when she had an Iphone. Otherwise I don't put much on it at all I just store a ton of pics and videos.

GoHeadBeGoneWithIt

Well duh, but anyway what should I do?

GoHeadBeGoneWithIt

delete the extension. three dots on top right corner >> settings >> extensions on left >> then click the trashbar next to your extension

Nana66

So it wouldn't be something I need or want, just like a suggested extention?

You could install zone alarm or glasswire to see incoming and outgoing going connections.
