I appreciate the non-confrontational and thoughtful response. I won't ever be able to completely discredit Ryan's account of what took place because I wasn't there nor do I know the guy personally to make a sound judgement on his character or ability to pull off such a hoax. I really just want to objectively put forth another perspective in case others out there are also struggling with the legitimacy of this story.

I think it was at first in fun and to spread the word, now I think the wind's out of his sails, so he might end up doing just that.

I understand the skepticism. It was hard for me to believe when it was actually happening. I just hope the risk was worth it. I hope people look into this and a break comes from it.

After rewatching Ryan's video, I realized what seems sketchy to me. A lot of the messages from JA are strange, sometimes confusing or simply don't make sense, yet Ryan somehow immediately reads it to us as though he completely understands what JA is talking about with the exception of the one message where he admits to being confused. The way he tells this story is indicative of compulsive lying and yes, I've had direct experiences with these types of people in the past, both inside and outside of my profession. Compulsive liars or even just someone who likes telling stories will give their credibility away by revealing much more information or inferring meaning that is otherwise ambiguous. Ryan does this a lot during the entire review of his text conversations with JA and for this reason I remain skeptical. I also picked up on his push for us to let the authorities do their job and leave the investigation to them because it's their fight, not ours. Does that sound like someone who believes in the efforts of this community?

Personally I think he's torn between wanting to keep everybody informed and convince them it's true, and risking his safety. Just my opinion.

I wish I had a time machine to transport me to the future! I can't wait to see how this plays out. One thing that seems very legit to me is searching back on his facebook page to July 2016. He is clearly supporting Bernie, bashing the DNC, and hashtags neverhillary. This was many many months prior to any talk of pizzagate. It seems very strange that someone with this passionate hate for Hillary would be staging anything in cahoots with Alefantis (which I have seen others' speculate) . I have also seen ALOT of people convinced he is chickenlover with side by side comparison. I highly doubt that as well. If this is a hoax on his own accord, it's a very insane move on his part to file a falsified police report. I can't help but try to put myself in his shoes and wonder how I would react if Mr psychopath himself contacted me! Haha I might shit my pants too! I definitely would have had my friend voice record. That's the part that keeps me skeptical. Aside from that, he seems like a genuine guy and I think it's great he tries to spread awareness with the T-shirts.... To me actually gives him more credit with his choice of words at the end. I don't feel like it was a plug. Anyways, guess we will see! Sure wish he'd speak up!
