Yeah, they do like to use all this symbology. I spent quite a while getting a feel for them a day or so ago, looking through various instagram accounts. I think some of them are 'in' on things, as in, they know what all of these symbols truly mean, and some seem to be repeating them but don't actually seem to comprehend the stuff at all, they just use them because other 'cool' people are using them.

I've noticed that symbology is quite prominent amongst these DC folks. A few of them have symbols on their hands or bodies. I saw that hand sign in sketchy art or photo around the CPP people. It was hands just like this and words next to them - it means "OK" - top hand, like OK sign "Asshole" - bottom hand
