TOOL -- Quick start guide -How to ARCHIVE webpages ( pizzagate )

As a reminder to new folks wanting to pursue leads, please archive links as you are viewing them.

How? Open a separate tab in your browser. Navigate to archive.is (there are several different sites besides this one).

Copy the address bar link from the website page you have found in your research and paste it into the search box on the archive site. Click a few search/ok buttons until conversion begins.

As the webpage is being converted, copy the address of the link and paste this link (archive.is/5char) into your voat post or record keeping place .

If you find that the page has already been archived, read the directions to get the web address.

This does two things. It preserves the website and it also prevents web traffic going to the original link to alarm anyone.

Archive trails you travel even if you are not record keeping. You may have preserved important evidence in archiving it.

And if you see a link that might not be archived from a post, please archive it.

question: any way to save entire instagram sites - INCLUDING comments, only ones I have found ony get the images, but no comments

This is how a retard like me manually downloads entire posts I think are important in their entirety. (save for when theirs a "continue this discussion" prompt). If theirs an easy way to automate this, I'm all ears.

First load the whole page by scrolling all the way down.

Then press "Ctrl + f" to search for

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

1 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

2 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

3 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

4 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

5 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

6 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

7 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

8 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

9 rep

Then click on all the results.

Press "Ctrl + f" to search for

0 rep

Then click on all the results.

When you're finished, hit "Ctrl + s" and then save as "Web Page, complete"

One additional step that can be taken is to download the archive.is zip file of the page in question. See the top of the page after archiving. This serves as additional security in case of deletion by archive.is or if archive.is is blocked/down/etc. You may want to rename the zip file to include the domain name for better organization.

What do you mean by paste this link? archive.is/5char That's some weird page from a different language and letters. Like Chinese.

That's not a legit link, just an example. The archive.is link simply includes 5 random characters.

Great post, could you possibly do a video demo. I have used archive.is before but you've explained features/functionality I wasn't aware of. I'm sure many would benefit from this.

Fingers crossed that Archive.is doesn't become compromised
