I don't know if this is relevant, but at Mugshots.com, the charge against Yusif Lee Jones is listed as "Out of state fugitive," rather than something like "Making terroristic threats," which is what I would expect to see listed. Maybe the charge is always listed that way in cases like this. http://archive.is/yLPRx

Attorney William J. Flanagan is prosecuting the case. http://archive.is/SZQtB

If anyone has a PoliceArrests.com account, the full arrest report is available here: http://archive.is/iNp9G

Shreveport has come up here in the list of cities before, apparently it's a trafficking hub

There is no difference between this case and Alefantis.

I'll beg to differ. Alefantis can claim emotional distress due to all of these wild claims about him on the internet and the people bothering him and his friends with phone calls and walking into their businesses with guns. He can say he was not in his right mind which can lighten his sentence or possibly get him off. The guy who called Besta has no excuse.

ConcernedParent

Oh, damn it. So it's as I feared then: JA likely won't get charged with shit.

ConcernedParent

So, what happens in April, just the hearing? Does Ryan have to be in the same room as this guy? Sorry, I guess I missed an update because last I heard, Ryan made a police report but that was it.

ConcernedParent

You mean the case of him threatening that Ryan guy?

pizzaequalspedo

Will Alefantis get 5 years for threatening Ryan?

EQJ

I sure hope so! And another 555 years for the cheese!

KingKongisCTR

Didn't take long between call and arrest and they didn't even know who he was.... Seems like an arrest when the perpetrator is known should take no time at all.

He made the call to Besta Pizza. No wonder. Restitution for what? If he called from La. How could he have caused damage? What a rip off. OK People. Please do not call these people and threaten them. You will be punished or worse. The only way to get these people is calmly by investigations and that big break.

duerheltdum

"If he called from La. How could he have caused damage?"

If he caused them to hire security or close for the day, then he caused them monetary damage.

carmencita

Thanks for informing me of that. I should have caught that. Yes, people have to control their emotions. It is difficult when we are dealing with children.

Shreveport man gets 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine? What does Alefantis get?
