I am wondering about all the top international art museums. Old art seems like art kept like bullion is kept, as a commodity. And the new "art" seems so shady. Real artists locked out of the system and can't gt exhibition space and the galleries seem connected to these indane people.

In the US most big cities forbid 'sidewalk selling' of art. This makes galleries just about the only place art buyers go.
