As strange as it might sound, they probably need voat to stay up and successful. It's always better to deal with the devil you know and understand, than to summon demons you'll have to unexpectedly learn about.

From the enemy's perspective, voat is a known entity and therefore can be included in their risk assessments. On the other hand the imaging sites are mostly backend servants to the larger forum and therefore replaceable.

It might just be wishful thinking, but I am doubtful Voat will be taken down for whatever reason...

If Voat does suddenly die, I'm sure we will lurk 4chan/reddit until a substitute for Voat is operational.

What we need is someone to do a large collection of all of the archived stuff and to organise it into a large document and upload it so that many people can download all of the information, so we're not reliant on it being on websites that can be taken down. Or if they are taken down, can just be put somewhere else.
