also, I doubt this was a DDOS attack. voat was only down for a few minutes. and that wouldn't accomplish keeping people from seeing the post you are referencing.

a page showed saying this site (subverse) does not exist.

It wasn't the cartoon goat that sometimes shows when the server is busy. Then the page loaded normally a minutes later.

Definitely some strange stuff going on, I heard about the sli.mg pictures going missing, no idea what happens there I just hope they aren't lost for good
