Supposedly there is a network of tunnels under Denver that connect several of the older government buildings to the Capitol. They were used by the night watchman to patrol these areas. The story goes that he lived down there (on peanuts) and stashed all of his savings (in silver dollars) somewhere in the tunnels. Never seen the place myself, but I'd love to go down there sometime and explore, take some photos... maybe find a fuckload of change.

There are tunnels going from underneath Denver Health that lead into those tunnels as well. Some of those tunnels are used by the maintenence crew, some of them have HUGE metal gates locking them shut. I'm willing to bet those are the ones that go to the capitol.

My mom works for custodial services for Denver Health, night shift. I used to visit her at work and see how far down the halls I could get. Very easy to get lost down there.

Well, Denver does have the world's oldest continuously operating district heating system which would suggest that there are steam tunnels running from the Valmont station deep into downtown. That's why we have those noir steaming manhole covers, just like the big cities. I just don't know how navigable those tunnels are...

Go to the Blake street vault in downtown. After you chow down on some awesome grub, you can ask for the tour, and they'll take you down to the tunnel below and show you the vault and tell you the history of the place and the vault (lots of gruesome death happened there). It's also supposedly haunted, by a ghost of a prostitute who was flung down the staircase to her death.

I agree with you. A good way to get people talking about the pedo culture. Go to a town council meeting, show them the FBI release and the comparison, ask that they make a motion to review and reconsider their logo. Maybe they will lash out, call it unimportant, or maybe it will make a couple of them cringe but take notice. Changing a logo or flag etc is one of the safe issues councilors can get behind. Most importantly, tell the local paper about the town council meeting this was brought up in and supply the artwork. A small paper might very well run the story, as they rarely have anything of interest going on except old feuds. Then monitor the comments section and leave links. Even if you can just get it to the council meeting, at least another 15-20 or so people have talked about pedo culture.

no that's fine. Town council meetings, the ones where your local elected councilors meet with the public, are usually held once a week or so. When you go to the meeting you ask to be put on the schedule to make a statement. Sometimes you have to call in advance - go here and look around http://www.lakewood.org/councilmeetings/ Damm you are right, that town logo really is an eyesore now ha ha. Anyway you should be given 5 minutes or so to lay out your case. You won't be arguing pizzagate but you can say that the FBI released these logos, there is growing public awareness of them, and your town logo needs to be changed, would you consider putting it up for consideration, etc...be sure to see if there are any people from the local paper there, if not, call them, ask who covers town council meetings and proceedings, talk to them, let them know about your statement and provide them with it written out as well as the pictoral stuff- the paper likes to have the story written for them and images provided. links to a good pizzagate page with the FBI logos on it would be very good.

I hope that helps. The town councilmen want our vote every year or two, and they are suposed to be there for the public interest. It is usualy a pretty informal meeting as these councilors all know each other. It could be a very interesting exercise in direct action with your community leaders and press. It is only a story to the local press if you show up at a council meeting and speak - then they can cover it.

I'm kinda worried about doing something like that (as /v/jonnythaiwongy9 mentioned) because I go to school with little kids and I wouldn't want to draw attention towards them. you may want to attend a meeting or two just to get the feel of it. but I understand. Drawing attention to oneself when you work with kids is unfortunately the kind of thing that keeps people quiet. everyone has to make their own choice.

I agree, it could be a coincidence, it's lake wood so the blue color could represent lake and there is the L... but it is very similar we should look further at the guy who designed it?
