iam french , and his name not really sound like "i love (or like) children".,if we think like that its actually can sound too (and more) like : "j'aimes les elephants (tis)" < what mean "i like elefants (tis)" lol.....

lets say that James could mean "j'aime" (not same prononciation, better would have been with "Jame" ,but let's say it is) then should have "les" but there is "A" before ,that could mean translated to english 'at" or "of" or "have" depend of the sentence but no need it at all in our sentence :"j'aime les enfants", so its different.... then "Lefantis" < can't be heard as "les ENfant (IS)" ...So, there is the "A" that is too much, and it missing the "EN" and the "IS" thats too much too, so yes its quite too much different for conclude that its somehow a french meaning for his name...too far fetched if u want my (and many others) opinion... and actually there is other people with this name..its like a normal Greek name if iam not wrong (often they finish on "tis")...
