Wow, thanks. I forgot about that scene.

Thank you for posting this. absolutely fascinating, you will make me read that book I discounted based on the movie interpretation of it. something struck me at the very end of this documentary. In Nabokovs own words about his legacy, knowing how precise he was with words, I want to draw attention to his juxtaposition "Far from being a frivilous firebird, I was a rigid moralist"

he would know his mythology, which could only mean he was referring to the Phoenix, a symbol of divine and royal power. I have come across Phoenix as a possible loaded symbol in other contexts, so I find it really interesting he chose this phrase to represent the pedophiliac debauchery as opposed to the moral rigidness he strove towards.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I had no idea about Nabakov being a rigid moralist. I was sad to find out that he was molested as a child too. Some other symbols we have to be on the lookout for is the green leaf apparently.

Hollywood reversed the meaning of the Lolita novel, as they do. I know this is deep and off topic, but Blade Runner is even more telling than Lolita. The Philip K Dick short story "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" was contrary to the usual AI/robot loving SF tradition. Dick had a direct religious/psychic experience, and identified as a 1st century Christian. Dick very much believed that humans have souls. Dick also considered the state, a derivative of Rome, to be inherently evil, the "black iron prison". Do androids dream of electric sheep? ends with a conclusion that machines, no matter how clever, are soulless constructs and utterly inhuman. Blade Runner the movie had the opposite message, that robots are people too, and deserve equality. as Harrison Ford runs off with the robot he loves. Dick got to view some scenes of Blade Runner and liked the special effects, but he conveniently died before the movie opened. Imagine if Dick had lived another 20 - 30 years as a Christian in Hollywood, in control of his intellectual property. Note that an EU committee just voted 17-2 to give robots/AIs human rights. This is key to the Satanic agenda. If it is too troublesome to maintain humans as mind controlled slaves, then we will be replaced.

Yes, Hollywood made simplified it down to just a "dirty old man" trope. Ah yes, Blade Runner. One of my favorite dystopian movies. I live in Los Angeles and currently there is a measure, Measure S, that is on the ballot on March 7. It comes down to do we want LA to become a hell hole like in Blade Runner or keep it spread out for the car culture. Of course I want to maintain the latter.

The Roman Empire continues in debauchery.

Been meaning to read his stuff, you've convinced me to seek it out post haste. What do you think of Kubrick's film? I am a major fan of his work because it seems he tried to get veiled messages out. Not seen lolita though because I found the subject matter a little nauseating.

I think it's simplified down to a "dirty old man" story. Not as bad as the Jeremy Irons remake, which outright makes it okay for an older man to be with an underaged girl.

I recommend researchers to watch this entire documentary to learn about how far back the pedophile codes go back. On this video, beginning at 07:01, we see the crossed tennis rackets, as seen in the "Lolita" 1962 film. Clearly, pedophiles are drawing much of their code from Nabakov, who actually was working to expose the underground through his own genius code. I just learned about this and it's fascinating. I had no idea that Vladmir Nabokov was also a victim as a child, abused by his uncle.
