A lot of them 'Boy Lover' symbols could just be a coincidence, it's a very simple design , something you would scribble on a piece of paper when you are bored. Definitely worth documenting every one though

Where there is no specific intent I might be inclined to agree. When you're talking about movie set design, almost everything has a reason for being there from either the designer or directors point of view. Which is not to say the intent is evil, I suspect that boy lover symbol may have older origins than its use by pedos, it may be masonic/occult in nature.
