Pasta is a common food item in Rome. Problem is, people don't seem to refer to going to Rome for pasta in anything I ever hear. They would be more inclined to say spaghetti or lasagne. Their favorite pasta dish. Kind of like you don't go to a sandwich shop and have meat on bread. You have a ham sandwich. Just pasta sounds like it was used very intentionally and meaning there is more to it.

Maybe you should take a look at the posts that have been removed, before you go jumping to conclusions about shitposts being "left up". The only post I've left up tonight was yours. You can see what's been removed via the link at the very bottom of the sidebar. Voat has limited bandwidth and fairly shitty tech. It takes a while before a post is actually removed from NEW after it's been deleted.

The Vatican connection links to Europe, UK and Canada, there's got to be a link to the USA given pope Francis timely visit where he enlisted the north American denominations to support and unite with him.
