There was no freeze under Obama. Refugees from Iraq were still coming in. The process was slowed down. People were not stranded at airports due to poor planning Visa holders and green card holders were not affecting.

It's not a move for show, the President doesn't tell the AG how to interpret the law. The AG is the chief lawyer of the land and takes an oath to the Constitution. If she feels the executive actions ordered by the President are lawful, her conduct was appropriate.

It involved Iraq not Iran. There was no "freeze." They slowed the process because they were making the review more stringent, but the process continued and it was not executed in the chaotic way this order was. I happened to be flying back to NYC Saturday. It was memorable.

Also Giuliani and others have come forward to say Trump asked them to find a way ban Muslims which is unconstitutional.
