You know how sometimes friends will seize on each other's weaknesses and play them up for a laugh? Like for instance if someone is neurotic about germs, you might warn them as they're approaching a door to get out their gloves so they can pull the handle without touching it. And if they have a sense of humor about themselves they could amp it up. "Oh shoot, I forgot my hazmat suit in the car". Well that's how it is with this guy except that he initiates and is very aggressive about it, just like you see on his instagram feed. It doesn't play like a game, to see how much you can creep out your friends, push their buttons. Deviancy is charming, especially for kids. It's more like an attempt to connect, to make people comfortable with him expressing who he is. In my experience there's always at least some truth to these kinds of things. They develop organically. They don't come from nowhere. It's possible I'm wrong. I never actually saw him molest a child. But he's also not doing himself any favors by looking the way he does. I wouldn't want my children anywhere near him and I'm no prude. I'm the biggest opponent of age of consent laws there is. Doesn't mean I accept a bad influence with an imbalance of power.
