The smartest move Trump could have made would to have been to give Cynthia McKinney a position in his cabinet. She is one of the few in DC to ever have the guts to stand up and speak the truth plainly to the sick powerful creeps that congregate there. He could still give her an "assistant secretary of" or "special assistant" position somewhere. She is one that everybody knows would dig deep and take great joy in draining that swamp.

I disagree entirely and vehemently that Bernie made himself out to be a stooge at the DMC. He has done a great service to wake up at millions of people who actually are fighting for the same things Republicans are fighting for. Maintaining sovereignty of the individual American and his or her rights, freedom from tyranny, a strong workforce educational system and healthcare and a healthy environment for us to live in. He helped shape a very progressive platform and is certainly no stooge. Pls ppl remember that there are many many many people on the other side of the aisle if you will, who are fighting this trafficking fight because we can connect the dots pertaining to the military industrial complex exploitation of oil and the revolving door of corporate owned government. We must not alienate one another and we must do a better job of gathering the facts and not making assumptions.

I like Cynthia Mckinney. I guess they couldn't buy her, blackmail her or otherwise shut her up when she was in congress so they went with belittling her and making her look like a fool. Remember when they set her up with that fake arrest. She's a brave woman, has always spoken out against wars and she has been on on ships running the Israeli blockade to the Palestinians.

I see your point of view. That's not my take on it. I think that Stein believes that there is a massive election fraud problem. She thought that Green Party votes were being flipped, keeping Greens below the 5% threshold. She thought votes in general were being tampered with. So she demanded a recount. I supported her effort and hoped it would reveal something.
