As for myself I am in my early 20s, of Swedish ethnicity and nationality, and generally interested in "conspiracy" matters which is why I am here (also: my desire for child rapists to meet their just end imminently). I too have dabbled in various linguistic matters, and progressed from my agnostic background through a platonism of sorts only to arrive at an uncomfortable position between the Catholic and the Orthodox worlds, in no small part due to becoming acquainted with Aristotle, the Greek Fathers, and Thomas Aquinas. I would cite the Upanishads, the Vedas, and the Gita as some of my favourite works, and I was majorly into Julius Evola and René Guénon in my late teens, so I am certainly familiar with the Hermetic arts to some degree. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with the compendium itself (Nag Hammadi, say), only excerpts and a certain range of interpretations.

I am curious, when you say modern philosophy, do you refer to the analytic or some Cartesian/"continental" framework? As you might suspect I have certain "classical" objections to the full extent of the "self-abuse" in modern philosophy (to be fair, though, my lot might be called "substance abusers", at least in the context of static essentialism in natural science), but I am always open to hearing rational discourse from rational persons of any "camp", and I'll keep following your updates here if you intend to write more on the topic.
