I've heard a couple of lines of speculation. One is that he was hushed by the network and will have to raise a boatload of money and go independent again before we hear anything. This may be changed or canceled if PG breaks widely enough.

One is that he was hushed by JAlapedo, and is either laying low until Alapedo is arrested or until PG has to be acknowledged as legitimate and reported by others (ie mass arrests in general).

Another is that he was threatened by JAlapedo, but played along and hushed himself in order to help stop Alapedo somehow. This could be either from being approached by the FBI, or from being approached by JAlapedo and speaking to the FBI about it--potentially, even with a recording of any threats JAlapedo made.

I'm personally not expecting more from Ben (aside from continuing to appear on CBS 46 in a strictly boring anchor sense) until JAlapedo is arrested.
