There was this very strange public access TV show called Unwind With the Sweeties which had characters who dressed eerily similar to Majestic Ape from Heavy Breathing. Bright colored ski mask, glasses to hide eyes, and a wig. They also "speak" without moving their lips. The Sweeties seem to be obsessed with sex as well, and seem to own a bunch of children's toys.
