If nobody is aware that Trump's National Security Advisor just resigned, then with that kind of obliviousness, we're fucked in ever hoping to unravel pizzagate.

ZalesMcMuffin

So... what exactly is it that he supposedly did wrong? I haven't been following the admin. His letter doesn't sound like there was anything crazy going on that would require such an early resignation -- but then that's often the case.

PizzaGate711

He spoke to the Russian Ambassador regarding sanctions and I gather did not disclose the entire conversation to Pence. His conversation was recorded by intelligence who are not working possibly in the best interests of the Trump Admin. Hillary Clinton didn't miss the opportunity to gloat on twitter either.

The only relatively independent news source these days is the Russia Times: https://www.rt.com/usa/377267-michael-flynn-resigns-national-security-advisor/ Note the comments. People are awake.

MAGABoomer

Thanks for that. It was much better balanced. I'm guessing he probably did mention the sanctions, but he can't make a deal. he was probably setting up a deal...meaning for them go get together and deal. Still wrong...but then...

The conspiracy is he may have talked about the sanctions when he was a private citizen as a member of the transition team. He could talk to Russia, and that was part of his job. He could not, at that time have done any negotiation or even discuss it. The issue is there's really not that big a deal because he wasn't authorized to make any deals.

The issue is he says he did not disclose that he'd talked about it to either Pence or Trump. That's probably true. And he should have. But why didn't he? He's not a novice. CURIOUS.

The question I'm hoping SOMEONE will ask, is who disclosed/leaked the contents of the conversation between Flynn and Russia? Russia? Flynn? NSA? CIA? CNN? I'm not defending Flynn, but isn't that also a wee bit of a concern? It's like making me wonder WTF kind of backstabbing and sneaky ass cameras and mics are hidden everywhere. That's creepy.

Hell, I'm a liberal and I'm defending Flynn. I've spent 20+ years working with politicians. One phone call does not a crooked politician make. Compared to long-term, protracted and intentional crookedness (like Hillary) it's nothing. Politicians talk about all kinds of things, some of them they shouldn't talk about, but that doesn't make them a criminal. Intel put a noose around Flynn's neck and waited for a slip up so that they could hang him. What a shame. He seemed to have integrity.

MAGABoomer

Nah, that's the same mistake Trump made. Yates warned him Flynn was a security risk..aka vulnerable to blackmail. I have no idea over what. But Trump sees upstanding military hero and doesn't believe Yates, he fires her instead probably thinking she's a liar.

Oops. Hillary crowed CONSEQUENCES. Either Flynn was always a plant to do just what he did, or he got blackmailed into saying he did. Something's wrong here. WHO is taping everything everyone says in Trump's White House? Someone just leaked the entire conversation with Abe and it's crashing the Japan economy.

The CIA/NSA...Trump gave the courts the unredacted CIA torture documents. Obama was ordered to but he never did. That shit right there...just the synopsis was enough to make me want to invest in tin foil...for a whole damn suit. The CIA was essentially the government doing whatever they wanted to whom ever they wanted.

Russia Today*. It should be noted that they are basically run by the FSB (KGB).

With that said, they often report the truth and it's very interesting to see western media shut its comment sections while RT even allows anonymous comments. :)

PizzaGate711

Yes!

iamthepizzanow

Backstory?

PizzaGate711

Plenty on the board already. Didn't see the need to replicate.

iamthepizzanow

So you replicated the post regardless of there being plenty on the board already?

Vindicator

@PizzaGate711 , can you explain how this is related to Pizzagate?

fartyshorts

I'm not OP, but I think this is roughly it:

Michael Flynn and Flynn Jr. both alluded to pizzagate in tweets months ago.

Flynn gets in trouble over calling Russia to ask "sup?", and then resigns.

Clinton intern comments the incident with "what goes around COMETS around" and pizza references.

Hillary Clinton retweets the intern's tweet, mocking Flynn.

He shoulda known someone was listening and recording.. it's not just average joe whose wife tells him to pick bread on the way home they listen to
