Exactly, it's an extreme form of self loathing and I have so much compassion for them. But self hate can also become projected on innocents and dangerous. Maybe because they themselves experienced violence when they were innocent. Who knows? Once you are an adult you are responsible for your actions and have the ability to make choices. I would imagine that some of this transgendering could have to do with the proliferation of chemicals in the environment and foods, maybe especially in connection to a trauma triggered reaction. Every transgender person I know has suffered sexual abuse and have tremendous self loathing. It's really sad, I think it might be a form of ptsd. Much like female victims of sexual abuse often gain a lot of weight. It's somehow related, some of it consciencely done, some of it unconsciously.
