In ancient China, the keeper of the Imperial Library, Lao Tzu, was famous for his wisdom. Perceiving the growing corruption of the government, he left for the countryside. On his way, the guard at the city gates asked Lao Tzu to write out the essence of his understanding to benefit future generations. Lao Tzu wrote the Tao Te Ching, and was never heard of again.

The problem with this popular narrative it’s that anybody who study’s Lao Tzu knows that he didn’t believe in the written word, and has been quoted as saying that what is believed to be true one hundred years ago, is not true today, and what is true today will not be believed one hundred years from now.

He went dark to let us know that everything that follows will be untrue. He has been compromised.

It would be interesting to know exactly who has the authority at the various media outlets to cancel a show, censor a post, delete a forum, etc.

Mainstream media may be fake and repugnant, but they do have org charts, lines of authority, and a pretense of free speech to maintain.

If we knew who exactly made the call to tell Ben Swann to take a break, or to delete the segment, this would be a handy paper trail to help connect the dots. Colbert' PG segment - was that his idea? (There was an earlier post that Podesta had supported Colbert's sister's run for a political position). Or who exactly told him to do this?

It would be an interesting tactic to start raising these questions directly in public forums. Especially considering how NYT CEO Thompson was at the BBC during the Savile years, the message can be addressed to top media managers: are you doing what the BBC did? If so, what's your agenda? Why would you not want to protect the kids?

Looks like a Phoenix symbol to me, but maybe not.

Thinking about him and Braverman. Worried about them being missing. And even Hasselbeck from Fox...long time no see? Who else has been super quiet online?
