I think this is a bust of Artemis (Diana), the Goddess of the Hunt.

It's most definitely a vaporwave thing, it's used all the time. Dunno about Alefantis but wouldn't be surprised it was a thing in his circles.

SturdyGal

Interesting. I didn't know that kind of music culture had a name From Wikipedia :

Vaporwave (British English: vapourwave)[10] is an electronic music subgenre[11] that originated in the early 2010s and spread over the next half of the decade among various Internet communities. It is characterized by a nostalgic or surrealist fascination with entertainment, technology and advertising of the 1980s and 1990s, and styles of both corporate and popular music such as lounge music, smooth jazz and elevator music. Vaporwave music is interpreted as a critique or reflection on consumer capitalism and popular culture

That describes what I am seeing in Heavy Breathing, style wise.

Sheilaaliens

Yes. Also in Sentimentalcorp.org

surgeson

Yeah it's an oddball of a genre, I can imagine people being weirded out by it when they're not aware of it. Heavy Breathing is a little more on the psych rock side but they could be influenced as well, performance wise.

SturdyGal

Yes the music is more psych rock but the video visuals seem a critique of consumerism, at least to me. Cool!

The two statues look different. Look at the hair.

Sheilaaliens

I thought I saw the same statue somewhere on that site, might have been a cached version - but just linked to a different statue they have on the site in this post.

Ushil

Possible, can you try to find the same statue back? Btw, I saw your video. I tipped the FBI about the fatherhood video and told them about possible links with Robert Robinson, linking to your video. :)
