Mike Pence is one of very few congresspeople who has taken a demonstrably strong stance against sex trafficking. While there are other examples, the key one came in 2002.

Mike Pence would be one of only 13 congresspeople that would demand an investigation by the Inspector General of the DoD into allegations, brought to light by Fox News, that the US Army was assisting sex traffickers in South Korea. That same investigation would later be broadened to include an investigation into DynCorp's actions in Bosnia.

Other signers included Cynthia McKinney and Dennis Kucinich (who Robert Steele said we could also trust). Honestly, the letter signers also included a bunch of other people you haven't heard of, cause they aren't part of the establishment.

Ok. Thanks for post. so the Hastert support looks to be about the Foley incident and not the later Hastert crime.

It does show poor judgement on Pence's part though. I didn't like it at the time that Foley had been given a pass by Republicans, but now that I know the depth of the cover up, some of them, both DEMs and REPs had to know what was going on.

Does anyone have what Pence said about the more current Hastert blackmail and pedophilia crimes?

McConnell's father-in-law and cocaine smuggling by his ships. Rubio taking money from the Fanjul family, known for human trafficking and slavery in the Dominican Republic. Kasich buddying up with Ron Burkle, who - according to journalist Jared Paul Stern - is a pedophile.

The establishment makes money through crime. Better to be poor and honest.

It definitely makes me able to believe he actually is a true believer in terms of his ideology. I may disagree with nearly everything he stands for, but I do appreciate that he's not in it for the money.

Yeah but Trump can't do all the investigating personally. It's a giant game of who do you trust. One bad recommendation from someone you think you trust can leave a mole in the system. If you had to hire say 15 people and I told you 5 of them are satanists that want to destroy you, and 1/3 of all the people you ask for advise are also satanists but you don't know which ones.... i mean c'mon. The chances of actually picking all good people is astronomical. I'll be surprised if one of his close pics isn't evil at the end of all this.

I'm not giving anyone a free pass (DJT included)...

But here's a possible theory: Trump takes on Pence as VP to appease certain factions of the old guard republican party (same with Priebus for cabinet). He does this KNOWING that Pence is compromised, with the intent to take him down with all other arrests. Could then appoint a new VP (has to pass Senate and Congress approval - 25th amendment).

I seriously am starting to think our government is comprised mostly OF pedophiles or suppliers. That is the only explanation for how enmeshed people get into politics and how some people are career politicians. They are installed and threatened to "do the job" because they are on film doing something heinous. If a politician doesn't last longer than one term, it must mean they couldn't trap the lucky bastard. Just how I have been feeling with all this horri lately.

To me, it's a lot like Hollywood. Even if all the people aren't engaged in it or assisting it, I think they all still know who does. However, being that it is such a horrific crime, they know they too will be judged by the community at large just for having stayed silent. Thus even people who aren't involved will work to keep it a secret as well. Like they say - it's an "open secret."

That's true as well. According to Michael Ovitz, there's a "Gay Mafia" lead by David Geffen (yes, another close friend of Bill).

It may seem laughable, but if you look at the armory Hollywood fixer, Anthony Pellicano, was caught with (guns sure, but also plastic explosives) and the fact that even the Digital Entertainment Network guys had their own arsenal (a company which Geffen helped run), there is a lot of personal risk in speaking out in Hollywood.

Haha no. I think everyone has the same concerns. It's near impossible to know who to trust in government.
