D.C. police chief Peter Newsham, who has been photographed with paedophile J. Alefantis in suspected child prostitution front Comet Ping Pong, has been implicated in covering up the brutal rape of 11-year-old Danielle Hicks-Best. Despite medical records showing that the victim had suffered vaginal tears and knowledge of the name of the rapist, never made the slightest attempt to investigate the matter; in an internal letter, a lieutenant referred to the "sex" consensual, even though it was clearly paedophilic in nature.
