The UK has a well documented problem of losing, mis-categorizing, or simply not reporting crime. Everyone likes to talk about Sweden, but the UK loves them some rape. Rape, knife crime, and even gun crime has all exploded in the UK. But of course, they don't like to admit it because it invalidates their surveillance state and gun/knife ban. How do we know this? The BBC actually did a segment where they blew the lid off of it. Then the even government admitted to it. The BBC's investigation showed that many murders and even home invasions were either not officially counted or were categorized as a lessor crime. Rapes are frequently categorized as assaults. So on and so on.

Additionally the UK doesn't even record crime stats like every other country in the world does. They only officially record crimes to which they can charge someone. So if they get away or can't identify them, a crime was officially not committed.

This is why the UK has statistically low crime but have massive crime problems. Like Sweden, they too have no-go zones where police simply don't show or can't safely patrol.

Basically, the UK roughly as safe as the less safe parts of the US.

I also agree that women are widely treated as second class citizens in the Islamic faith which is absolutely awful, all the more reason why Muslims should integrate more when they come to another country just as we would have to if we went to theirs.
