Kids are loud, chaotic and unpredictable. Drugging them into a tired or sleepy state means they are unable to resist, cry out or fight sexual abuse. Also kids do remember things. Thats how every single human being on the planet adapts and evovles in their environment. By learning, by remembering, by repetition. It doesn't matter about what they remember when they're older. Its about them being trusting and compliant in the now and if this ambien stuff helps then you bet these people will use it.

Reading the part about Ambien and thinking it's probably used to drug and rape BABIES and TODDLERS has given me a fresh bout of sadness and disgust at this whole situation. My only real conclusion is that these people can't be human. How could they do this to children and on such a widespread scale? I hope this sparks a revolution. These people need to rot in hell.

That's a great letter to Luzzatto. I didn't know she had enquired about Ambien. This has been spoken of so often--these poor kids are given drugs so that they don't remember the rape and abuse.

wow, I did not see until now that her blog had tags like "baby ambien" and "tranquilizers". That's so fucked up. I have friends who have told me that ambien is often taken recreationally and creates a dream-like experience which is extremely hard to remember the next day - its pretty obvious that this implies it may be being used to drug these poor kids. =(
