Or hey, how about NASA make a public tour up into low orbit...low orbit starts at around only 50 miles up. A trip around the world would be cool!! at 17,000 mph!! They could charge and actually make money for their space program. I understand the last time the public wanted to go up there back in the 1980's but after specially selecting members from the public in a nationally televised series on the news.....the rocket exploded on take off, killing everyone....thus, just as the gunman at ping pong place "demonstrated" how dangerous fake news is, so too did that crash and series of news stories afterwards demonstrate that space travel is best left to the professionals.

Do some research, ironically all of the people "selected from the public" who died in that crash are provably either still alive using their same names....or have identical twin siblings still alive...and working at Universities or in high government position. That astronaut who just set a record and spent a whole year up on the space station....his identical twin stayed here on earth.

Either way, its been 30 yeas since that tragic accident and the space agencies around the world have performed thousands of missions....regular placement of satellites up into orbit and frequent transit to and from the international space station to change crews. Even a 30+ million mile trip out to Mars with a 100% safety record.
