There's nothing wrong with him donating $1mm to Obama and subsequently Hillary... but, if, and that is a BIG "if" he is somehow implicated in all of this down the road - well, I'd say that contributing 3% of your net worth (at the time of the donation, which was just before a big multi-year deal that likely boosted that net worth even higher) would be a great investment to keep oneself out of prison.
Again, the production company name, defending the old 30 year old/13 year old news story and the move title are not sufficient evidence of wrongdoing. Simply more coincidences on the pile of circumstance we continue to mine.
