i thought duck duck go would be better but unfortunately i think you're right. google still seems to be okay even though they are supposedly watching us they seem to be overall not as censored as i thought they would be after they sold out. bing is just awful. using a vpn i find google will mess with your downloading straight up. very invasive. i use duck duck go for my downloads.
This is a cool search engine too. You can search under mainstream media or alternative media. It also has links to a whole bunch of alternative news sites! Like Infowars, Breibart, Drudge Report and tons more!

The others tend to return everything...bing and yandex are both full of CP related terms and images on their image searches if you follow the rabbit trail - any normal search for normal legal adult content will eventually end up in CP if you keep clicking their suggestions.
Report to bing, they remove it and report the site to the fucking NCMEC, but it is a decent way to find things to report to the FBI directly.
Trying to shun Google searching, I used Duck Duck Go for a good while, for searching all kinds of things. The results were never as useful as the results I got in Google searching. I hate Google + my time is precious = a problem.
