I'm not anti-gay, but Harry Hays was a known gay activist for NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association). I'm pretty sure any organization he helped found, or was a part of, is very likely to be an off shoot of NAMBLA.

In 1950 Harry Hays was the founder of a group called the Mattachine Society.

NAMBLA is real - I am from San Francisco, ground zero for this stuff and knew members of NAMBLA and pedos from this world. Harry Hay is a well-known figure within the gay community here, as are Radical Faeries and Mattachine.

Don't think so - the people I knew were more in the arts, and that was a long time ago. I will think about it.
