It was a long read but well worth it.

It made me incredibly sad for the whole history of the human race and it becomes clear why in this information age some want real change (breaking the cycle) while others keep their heads in the sand (abused become abusers/denial)

It also makes you realise how much more likely pizzagate is to be real because of some who get a kick out of it. Especially those in positions of power.

I found this article to be super helpful when trying to wrap my head around the evil of abusing a powerless child.

"The main psychological mechanism that operates in all child abuse involves using children as what I have termed poison containers–receptacles into which adults project disowned parts of their psyches, so they can control these feelings in another body without danger to themselves."

"All cultural changes in the past 100,000 years of Homo sapiens sapiens are epigenetic, not genetic. Regardless of changes in the environment, it is only when changes in childhood occur that epigenetic changes in the brain can occur and societies can begin to progress and move in unpredictable new directions that are more adaptive."
