IME so far, this happens because a lot of sites will have links to things like their current articles or articles that they may think are related and it causes those to bleed through to date ranged search. It would be nice if google had an option to only search original article content and ignore links outside the main body content and what not.

Also, even if you quote your string lile +'mykeyword' it will still sometimes let its NLP algorithm take over and try partial search of your quoted string or another variation of it. I explain why my bot returned the results it did in this comment here - https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1682579/8241552

Currently my solution for the bot is to actually have it open and parse the page it found to match the search string in the main body content before marking it as a valid related link.
