According to (what I found on) IMDb, The Chippendiddys wasn't much of a career-maker for the dancers. The director is/was a successful NYC photographer. Here are some IMDb and a few other links to The Chippendiddys 1995 documentary, and to what the cast and crew have done since.

In the long documentary, at around 5:35 the adult says to take a break, then puts his hand up in a weird way and pats one of the boys' heads. The boy looks back around where the person holding the camera would be.
