Where are you getting this International bullshit, its the INTERNET Movie DataBase. And tbh i never used their boards, but if they want to close them they can its their platform. Yes I understand many of you have lost a lot of past comments and archives due to it, but Jesus not every fucking forum/message board/comments section shutting down has to do with Pizzagate. I could understand a little if they gave a statement saying they shut it down due to 'toxicity' or harassment, but what if they didn't want to maintain the boards anymore, or they are trying to open up more storage space cause the movie database needs more, and instead of buying more storage they chose to open up space they already have by removing the boards.

OP, I hope you post this again, with rules followed.

badastrid

Been noticing this frequently on a local level in Chicago. Comments are usually closed on any racially-charged crime.

r3dtr1x

They can't control the narrative anymore. CTR and ShareBlue and the like are losing the battle.

abortionburger

@jordan-Ross this has gotten a lot of traction so I'm not going to delete it right away, but please add a link per rule 2.

educate_yourself

thanks for leaving for now should b up

smokratez

I got shadowbanned on a soccer forum because I was dropping too many redpills. Censorship is happening everywhere.

Dauphin

Shady as fuck!

pbvrocks

IMDB is where all the actors/producers/entertainment types go to post their resumes. Great source of information. Would also be where some jobs get posted, etc. Any way to access the archives of the BBS? Might be interesting to check it for CP or other related pizza matters...

IMDb Message Boards Announcement

The IMDb message boards were disabled on February 20, 2017. This included the Private Message system. IMDb is passionately committed to providing innovative ways for our hundreds of millions of users to engage and communicate with one another. We will continue to enhance our current offerings and launch new features in 2017 and beyond that will help our customers communicate and express themselves in meaningful ways.

Searching this topic, there are a good many articles about this, for example:

R.I.P. IMDb Message Boards, 2001-2017 - Upon the closing of the IMDb message boards, we take a look at what we've lost.

Excerpt; Most sites covering IMDb’s decision, such as Gizmodo, were superficial to the point of being blasé , saying good riddance to forums overtaken by online haters. And while the decision to shut down IMDb’s message boards makes sense given both the rise in hate speech and fiscal challenges of maintaining it, it’s important to recognize that no other forum was able to replicate the same amount of fervid discussion of every single TV show, film and actor on a single site—and, more importantly, create the same community as IMDb did once upon a time. The demise of IMDb’s message boards marks a new milestone in the cultural decline of online forums, which once occupied an indisputable role in mainstream digital technology. * ...

and a Petition to keep the IMDB message boards going .

This single comment on the petition explains it, imo: Bezos, bring back the IMDb message boards! Do not dumb down the populace any further. *

Kristina_Gilliam

It's probably because people are discussing the likes of Bryan Singer, Edgar Welch (and other crisis actors), Nicole Kidman etc. The genie is out of the bottle.

Thanks, op. Unbelievable. At the same time, all this stuff may work to our advantage. Even if I didn't believe anything about pg or wiretaps or the Russian Clinton Connection, or all sorts of weird things that happen "out of the blue," the more my ears would perk up. "What's going on here?" In their panic they are overplaying their hand.

educate_yourself

it inevitably will work to our advantage, but in the end we will likely fail unless we learn from the cycles and repetitiveness of history. if things continue they will be forced to actually fake drain the swamp or people will revolt. if we accept their bs swamp draining we lose and if we revolt we lose bc the bankers just buy us and own us like the last guys. we gotta find another option. im just talking in the long run, in the short term it will deffsssss help. once enough people recognize as their tactics going from covert to overt, will work better for us...........

Please read the following:

1512: Marine Links Murdoch’s Most Wanted IMDb Snuff Films to Clinton’s Benghazi JABS

Plum City – (AbelDanger.net). United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Rupert Murdoch’s America’s Most Wanted snuff-film personalities in the Jamie Gorelick Internet Movie Database (‘IMDb’) to Hillary Clinton’s alleged use of Nortel’s Joint Automated Booking System (‘JABS’) to place actors (?) at the Benghazi crime scenes to back-haul snuff-film images of the torture, rape and murder of Barack Obama’s U.S. Ambassador to Libya, the late Christopher Stevens.

1511: Marine Links Clinton Murder Lab Pride to Murdoch VideoGuard Keys for Cisco Snuff From Benghazi

“White House Source Says Obama Watched Benghazi LIVE On TV [Allegedly used Murdoch/Cisco VideoGuard pay-per-view encryption to conceal IMDb sale of Most Wanted snuff films] This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my sources, yes, [Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”

Shaffer served as a senior operations officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan in 2003 and wrote a book critical of the policies there. The U.S. government purchased the entire print run for $47,000 in an attempt at censorship just before its 2010 publication, claiming it contained classified material.

Shaffer said the question now is what precisely Obama did or didn’t do in the moments he saw the attack unfolding. The CIA reportedly made three urgent requests for military backup that were each denied.

“He, only he, could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something. That’s the only place it could be done,” Shaffer said. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last week the military did not intervene because they did not have enough information about what was happening on the ground.

Col. David Hunt, a Fox News military analyst, said the military could have had jets in the air within 20 minutes and forces on the ground within two hours. “Fox Television

Upon graduation, Chao developed an interest in movies. Multiple rejections by the studios led him to New York working in finance for movie producer Dino De Laurentis.[1] Chao was hired as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Corporate Development for Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. Two years later, Murdoch purchased Fox Studios. Looking to expand the studio into television, he asked Chao to become a part of the creative team for the nascent Fox Television network.[8]

Chao’s new position was under Fox President, Barry Diller. His duties were to develop innovative, low-cost shows for the station group. The idea was to greenhouse promising shows, and to ultimately migrate them to the network. Some of his first attempts included short-lived programs such as The Ron Reagan Show, a talk show hosted by Ronald Reagan's son, the children’s showDr. Science, and the game show King of the Mountain. Both strong minded executives, Diller and Chao often butted heads. The most talked about controversy surrounding the two individuals occurred when Diller became so enraged with Chao that he hurled a 3/4" videocassette tape across the room, denting the wall. Chao framed the dent, convincing Diller years later to autograph it.[4][9] Despite their intense conflicts, the two men together produced some of the most innovative, enduring and controversial television programming to date.[citation needed]

Chao’s first success was a concept that had been in his head for years after seeing the "Most Wanted" poster in the post office. Chao's original pitch was to marry High Noon with the 10 o'clock news. The concept he labeled "Electronic Lynching" became the television show America’s Most Wanted.[6] The following year in 1987, Chao met John Langley who pitched a concept of following beat cops around Broward County. This show became Cops.[9]

Chao was promoted to President of Fox Television stations and Fox News Channel in 1992. In June 1992, ten weeks after taking position as President, Chao spoke at a management conference in Snowmass, Colorado for Fox executives, board members and world dignitaries, including Rupert Murdoch and wife Anna Murdoch, and former United States Secretary of DefenseDick Cheney and wife Lynne Cheney. He spoke on “The Threat to Democratic Capitalism Posed by Modern Culture”. Strongly emphasising that television programs tend to be less critical of violence than nudity and sexuality, Chao hired a local waiter/model Marco Iacovelli[10] to strip naked during his speech to illustrate his point about censorship and that network standards were not keeping pace with modern day experience. Not at all amused, Murdoch fired Chao immediately afterwards.[8][9][11]” “http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094415/ America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back (1988– ) "America's Most Wanted" (original title) TV Series - 60 min - Documentary | Crime | Drama 7.0 Your rating: -/10 Ratings: 7.0/10 from 632 users Reviews: 15 user | 1 critic

Archive everything, post links, download the archive, spread p2p.

GlobalGuardian2001

They use actors...crisis actors on IMDB for staged, false flag attacks.

Edgar M. Welch, the Comet Ping Pong shooter is an actor listed on IMDB.

chelseaclinton

Bingo. The Orlando Gay Nightclub terrorist was in a b list movie listed on IMDB.

GlobalGuardian2001

Please follow Abel Danger. These guys know their stuff.

chelseaclinton

What do you mean follow? It was an intelligence program no?

GlobalGuardian2001

http://www.abeldanger.net

They solved the 9/11 attacks and other various false flags including the hijacking of MH Flight 370.

chelseaclinton

Cool I'll check it out.

IlluminatiKing

That's shady AF!

chelseaclinton

They're going to use their control of large internet properties to shut down communication, balkanize the remaining internet communication, and attack the ghettos that don't accept the brainwashing. We can beat them. When they close down communication in their properties those properties take a step backward, opening the door for competitors. IMDB shuts down, time for 3 more open and better alternatives.

Singleservename

Absolutely incomprehensible move motivated by nothing but some weak ass 'more positivity' argument.

I had been on those boards for over sixteen years. I understand EVERYTHING is deleted? I consider this a direct assault on my personal archives as well as the free internet.

What can be behind this? It has to be more than they purport but I don't think deleting and closing more than 15 years of open film discussions is pizza-related either.

The internet is going to shit faster and faster. Anyone know a good alternative to imdb's boards?

O and fuck you IMDB. I'm going to delete all my reviews too.

rooting4redpillers

GUILT obfuscation, justified as pussification. IMDb had to know this would be a supreme insult to fans, and yet there it is.

derram

Comment sections are being shuttered across the Internet under the guise that they're 'toxic.'

Just another step in the march to turn the Internet into television.

Micheal84

It happenend in the Netherlands last year, a big news site Nu.nl deleted they're comments section just like that. A lot of people were arguing about the articles there. I guess it's just a form of censorship.

Mad_As_Hell

What are we going to do if/when Voat is compromised?

chelseaclinton

Don't wait until then. You should be using atleast 2 sites with a PG investigation community all the time. On that topic is there a list somewhere?

Singleservename

Must be something like that. Eg. Disconnect between newspapers articles and their comments has been growing for years.

But this is not just a step this is a leap. Those boards were absolutely massive. I don't think there are many competitors for sheer size.

bluedeath

The moment people started calling out CNBC contributors they did the same thing.

LavonAffair

I think it's cause people have been discussing larpers, such as the pizzagate shooter, in the relevant IMDB subforums. I'd imagine this could cause the tptb significant anxiety. I still find it shocking however.

Singleservename

those are approved reviews not the message boards.

LA_Trump

Whoa. I actually think you're on to something. Pretty shocking of IMDB.
